ASME V T764.2 Circular Artificial Groove Magnetic Test Specimen Magnetic Particle Sensitivity Test Tablet
1.Type A1 magnetic particle sensitivity test tablet
1.1 The test sheets are made according to the requirements of TYPE A1 (after annealing treatment) in GB/T23906, JB/T4730-2005 and JB/T6065-2004, "Test Sheets for Magnetic Powder Testing in Nondestructive Testing".
1.2 This test piece is used to verify the direction and magnitude of magnetic field intensity on the workpiece surface and the comprehensive performance of magnetic particle testing.
2. Supporting components and specifications
2.1 This test sheet includes six specifications: A1-7/50, A1-15/50, A1-30/50, A1-15/100, A-30/100 and A-60/100.
2.2 Size specification of test piece and corresponding magnetic field intensity
Sample thickness: 50±5μm and 100±10μm
The edge length of the test piece: 20±1㎜
Circular artificial groove diameter: 10±0.5㎜
Cross artificial slot length: 6±0.3㎜
Gauge artificial groove depth μm corresponds to sensitivity circumferential magnetization specification and corresponding magnetic field intensity
A1 7/50±1.0μm High sensitivity (11-12)D3520 ~ 3840A/m(44-48 Oe)
A1 15/50±2.0μm Sensitivity (8 ~ 9) D2560-2880A /m (32 ~ 36 Oe)

※ The circumferential magnetization specification and corresponding magnetic field strength in the table are the test results of normalized 45 steel sample for reference.
3. Use method
3.1 According to the need of flaw detection sensitivity, select the type A test piece of appropriate specifications.
3.2 The surface of the workpiece must be flat and smooth, not convex or concave uneven; Will try a moment with artificial groove side down, with good adhesive tape paper from all around it and the workpiece closely. Note: When pasting, the tape should not cover the slotted part on the back of the test piece; All sides must be closely fitted, there can be no warping phenomenon (especially on the surface of the shaft).
3.3 specimens with the workpiece can be as a magnetic particle inspection quality control samples, at the beginning of the working class a day to verify magnetic system comprehensive performance, such as magnetic image display, after the specimens ruled out the joint bad reason, analysis its reason (magnetic suspension, process equipment, etc.) and take corresponding measures to solve, magnetic inspection to ensure quality.
3.4 The test piece is made of pure iron sheet, which should be prevented from wrinkling when used, coated with anti-rust grease after use, and properly kept (the grease should be washed away before use).
3.5 If the sample is wrinkled, broken and corroded, it will affect the use effect and should not be used again.
